Soy Amado No. 34

No. 34 is soft and for a girl.

It has an almost antique feel to it.

Now the trouble with being the quilt holder upper and delegating the picture taking, is that it doesn't take long for The Photographer's Assistant to go off message and then all sorts of things start appearing on the computer screen when I download the images.

By which time I'd forgotten we hadn't 'done' the back so The Photographer's Assistant decided it was job done and I sloped off to the trusty washing line and did it myself.

And did a close-up of some of the blocks.

Time for another delivery don't you think?

  1. Can she make a quilt-a-day? YES SHE CAN! You are amazing. I particularly like that you take the time to photograph each quilt in a special place. Beautiful care. Keep going!

  6. you just made a connection for me - this one you said looks a little antiquey struck me as a little low volume, too - so perhaps that is what we find charming about low volume - they remind us of the older, faded, traditional quilts from where we came! love it! also....the clematis warmed my heart almost as much as the quilt - i have lived on a mountain now for almost exactly 10 years and left a yard in town filled with roses, tulips, lilacs, ETC...i miss my 'town' flowers. so i'm glad your photo assistant took a little detour...thank you! and enjoy (:

  14. Love your soft antique-looking quilt, another winner. Flower pictures are super. I was at Siisnghurst Castle in Kent today and saw some marvellous foxgloves there but yours are equal to them.
